Nice to see a battle report, hopefully I will get a chance to play over xmas.

Looks like it will be an easy enough game to pick up.

Great, I read your report with great interest. Your boy is going to be a hardened gamer before he is 10!

Nice AAR/Batrep.  Just bought the PDF and considering it for my 15mm SF gaming.

Nice to know it played smoothly and that you could cope without having counters on the board. On first read through both were very off-putting for me.

I love that your whole family got involved with the roster sheet!  Your daughter is a good artist!  I haven't played yet but I've got my copy and my wife said some of the North Star aliens are "adorable" so I think some of those are headed our way too.  Thanks for the report - a month until I move and can get the gaming stuff out of storage - can't wait to play this!

Nice batrep.  I'm glad to hear that it smooths out and becomes intuitive.  I'm reading through now, and it seems daunting.  I've watch the batrep videos, and they are hard to follow the up/down of modifiers.  I think playing will make it more clear.

AND I love to see those Black Magic Craft pillars.  Those are solid looking!  I made a couple of them, too.
