Theme - Savages

Savages
Abandoned by society and possessing only that technology which they can scavenge, savages form tight-knit family groups ruled by a strong warrior or domineering psion.

Starting TraitsAgile (3), Alert, Ambidexterity, Amphibious, Big, Civilian, Chucker (3), Claws, Danger Sense,
Difficult Target (3), Diminutive, Extra Arms (3), Extra Legs (3), Fast (3), Fast Draw, Fire into Melee,
Free Disengage, Green, Huge, Heavy-Worlder, Insectoid, Leadership (3), Light-Worlder, Lucky,
Marksman (2), Martial Arts (3), Medic (1), Mineral, Nonreactive, Perceptive (3), Psionic,
Psionic Master (3), Reactive, Reptiloid, Steadfast (1), Stealth (3), Tough (3), Vegetable,
Veteran, Weapon Master (3), Xenologist
Starting EquipmentAll Civilian
Starting WeaponsAll Civilian, all Military melee, all non-Energy Military ranged
SpecialThe squad leader must be at least Psionic Master (2) or Weapon Master (2).



No artificial or tech stuff for these guys!

Just something I felt was missing from the Rogue Stars default book. Mostly for fun and so I can use my Kolony Ferals. Any comments?

Great idea!

Maybe trade down Marksman (2) and up to Difficult Target (3)?

Good point, done!

I've also added non-Energy Military ranged weapons to their list since they'll probably at least have the futuristic equivalent of an AK47.

That's a good addition, considering you are simulating "savages" by sci fi standards - guys stuck in the 21st century, right? :D

Minor update to the special rule. Now it is not a member but the "squad leader".

That's a good addition, considering you are simulating "savages" by sci fi standards - guys stuck in the 21st century, right? :D

I was thinking 40k Ratskins / others on the fringes of society. Also, obviously, Kolony Ferals from Pig Iron. :p

Very good. I need to try this faction.
