Thanks guys, much apprecriated and that it's generating positive vibes.

This year is definitely running at a high standard, but like the rest of LAF, it's pushing me on in a good way.

Thanks guys.

Over the last few days I have painted the launch ramp and the base. Will glue and flock its components together by Friday. Unfortunately I got distracted gluing an Epic army together over the weekend :/ so a little behind (remembering I still have to build the tower - but I think I can fudge a short term solution if I run out of time).

Glued the pegs (old nails in some holes I drilled) in tonight, along with covering the whole smoke trail in supaglue (as the PVA wasn't creating a rigid enough form):

Things are slowly coming along. I'm still impressed by you loonies that have managed to put in 100+ hours into your own builds already.

Yeah, he saved his bacon as it were with that smile - instead of an artillery rocket, it became an observation aircraft of sorts. If I had the time I could have made it an attack aircraft. I'd call it the Warthog.

ba-boom-oink.

Thank you, thank you. You've been a great audience I'm here all week. Try the pork.

Am nearly done with assemblying and painting the ramp.

The rocket is half undercoated (brushed black paint into the bits I know the spray undercoat will miss). I really need to get basic colours today (not much time for the hobby during the week).

I also started on the tower, photos aren't a great reflection of what it looks like:

It stands about 21cm tall and will need ladder rungs for the bottom half (the supaglue-stiffened rope is just for climbing the top half) and sheet metal panels for the crow's nest.
