Cheers for that Kev! That's some intricate work! :o How are you thinking of hiding the join in the wires between the engines? And how will you hide the light spillage on the engine cowls?

Oh darn! If I didn't know better I would have thought you were some sort of electrical engineer.

What a brilliant little contraption. I guess you need to go back an rewire yuor entire starwars colelctions now. lol

No, just.....no.  :-X

Here is just a quick update showing the engine blocked in and I have started to fill out some of the basic shapes in the body and give it some identity.

Again, there is more planning and trials that don't make it that aren't shown, so there is progress!

and here are a couple more.  The basic body is now complete and it has it's distinctive profile, now I have to start adding the details and refinements.

At some point I'll give it a basic undercoat to check everything.

I never cease to be amazed how a bunch of tubes, rods and other little bits of plasticard can accumulate into an entirely believable machine. And so small too.  :-*

That's just brilliant! I can see what Steve means and it's a real skill to do what you've done. That would look like a collection of off cuts trapped together by superglue if that was me.

Cheers to you all!

Here is the final update before painting.

With engines lit and all guns ready.

Shiny engines.

And now the big reveal.......

...I have made two, one is a Star Wars Rebels and the other is from Rogue One.

Corvettes escorting a Corvette.

Now to painting.
