More excellent detail work.  8)

I really hope you are able to finish it in time, but if not, look forward to seeing it completed at some point.

It's looking great; the important thing is that you finish it to the standard that you want it rather than to the deadline. Even if you don't make the deadline, it's been a most enjoyable  entry to follow.  8)

Pilot seat one is almost done, still need some hole filling and seatbelts, which will be done with GS.

Maybe a little bit more detailed than it needs to be, but it was fun to make. :)
Now back to finishing seat 2.

Tis magic, no human hands hath such powers over plasticard!  Except the Bibbly, Andy of the M, and quite a few other LAFers come to think of it.

I'm always amazed to see such neat work knowing what a bugger it can be to cut to shape.

Thanks!

Yes, LAF has a lot of amazingly talented people. That's why I love this place :D

I wouldn't call it neat work though, there is a lot of gaps and the lines aren't exactly parallel where they should be... I really need to get my hands on a multi-angle cutter.  :)

Anyway, the navigators seat is finished sans the GS work of course.

Next is the cockpit itself.

Excellent work, I love the clear screen idea. Lots of great detail.
a mixture of quick parts, sarcastic humour, reserve, and caprice.

Finished the plastic card work on the turret.

And more work done on the cockpit.

With the turret done everything that needs gs work is ready for it. Hopefully I will be done with the gs stuff tonight.

Cockpit almost done, the wall needs some gubbins and entry needs a door.

But I can start to paint the chairs.

Turret is done, also can start the painting of the insides.

The seat can move for now, but will be glued in place for the final build.
And here is the bottom part of the turret.

And I forgot to post the pic about the nose(s).

The left is the main armament, a heavy laser cannon. The right is the sensor array.
I started gluing things together now. Pics of that will be taken tomorrow.

Dam! That's good! Is it wrong to think of the separate pieces as cool flying saucers?
