These are wonderful, very stylish.

Did you base coat and then lighten that with white to get the bulk of the colour, or did you do it the other way round and put the shadow in last.

I like to paint the three stage way with a base coat, the main colour then a highlight. Though sometimes this turns into a four or even five stage way .
I also like to paint as neatly as I can to a nice bright finish, to try to make the figures stand out on the table, it's not to everyone's taste I know but I like it
