But it's slowly time for some dinosaurs, isn't it? ;D
I almost found most of suitable models for them but I'm still struggling to find a suitable miniature as a foundation for the laying Triceratops conversion. Any ideas or suggestions?[/b]

Hey there. I'm also building a bunch of 28mm minis for Jurassic Park games. :)

I started from the dinos, though.. will eventually work my way onto the humans.

For the T-Rex, i recommend the Revoltech figure of the Jurassic Park: The Lost World T-Rex.. it's roughly 1/60 scale and fits nicely with 28 mm figures. .. just needs a new paintjob to look like the Rex from Isla Nublar.
I have two and customized one. ;)

For the Raptors, there's already a good official choice for miniatures at a 1/60 scale.
From the Jurassic Park 3 miniature's line by Kaiyodo.
They just need a bit of a new paint job and a customized base to look like the "clever girls" from the original.

These choices are a bit pricy but they are accurate sculpts that work nicely with 28mm minis.

Havent gotten to the Triceratops yet.. and i havent really found good figures for it in scale...
Currently sculpting a Dilophosaurus from scratch to fit in with my custom Raptor and Rex. Will get additional Kaiyodo Raptors to complete the Raptor pack too.

I wonder what toys you got for the Jeep Wranglers... Matchbox?

Good luck. :)

Actually for the Raptors and Spitters, the JP and TLW board games have a lot of the minis in the right scale for 28mm

^Yeah. Not very detailed sculpts though.

The minis in those games are plastic and based on these Kenner diecast models.
A bunch of different scales. Raptor is the right scale for 28mm.

Kaiyodo's minis for jurassic park 3. Superior sculpts.  ;D

Hey guys,

It's been a long time since my last update.
So without wasting time, here comes the next main characters.

The chaos theory mathematician, the rockstar scientist, the lady killer, the one and only: Dr Ian Malcolm

The miniature is originally from Khurasan and was converted with a little bit of GS.
Hope you like him.

Cheers,
Daniel

Nice work - the shades are stunning, and the black on the clothes grand.  8) 8) 8)

Thanks lads!

I already ordered miniatures for the next wave including IT nerd Dennis Nedry, lawyer Donald Gennaro, the hunter Robert Muldoon and his park staff. I hope to finish them very soon as well.

But it's slowly time for some dinosaurs, isn't it? ;D

On the recommendation of some user I bought a copy of 1993s book "the making of Jurassic Park" and I have to say this is a real beauty. 195 pages full of illustration, concept art and photography. I would say: 100% Motivation!

Cheers,
Daniel
