January has been and gone, and so has the first game for my Rogue Trader commemorative project. A beauty it was too!

Here's the scenario.

An overview of the table.

The natives converging.

The defenders, buying time for the explorers.

The explorers cracking into the time capsule.

And a slight complication (not the last one, either!)

There's a full report over on my blog if you're that way inclined! http://preacherbyday.blogspot.com/2017/02/rt-project-time-to-die-pulp-alley-game.html

Great report. How do you find the pulp alley solo rules? Do the cards guide both forces or just the opponent?

Thanks dijit! I really enjoyed the solo rules. The player controls 'their' force, the opposition have a few rules to guide the way the player uses them. (See here: http://pulpalley.com/viewtopic.php?f=52&t=1837)

The cards then mix things up so you're never quite sure how things are going to pan out. Characters encounter perils, can't shoot, gain bonuses for different skills, etc.

Thanks for this thread. I'm super interested in those solo rules. Need to get a copy of Pulp Alley, it seems.

They have given me and my kids and my gaming group countless great games. If you're after something fast and fun, not super detailed, they are fantastic!

Glad you are enjoying the Pulp Alley Solo rules. It took Dad a few years to finally design solo rules that he was completly happy with, and I think it really nail it!  ;)
