blacksoilbill, really AWESOME game and figures and everything!  :-* :-* :-* :-* :-*

Nice to see a classical setting like RT receiving a fresh blood with the clever PA rules!  ;)

Phew, well I've finally gotten around to posting up the February game. Another cracker!

This time it's a scenario from the 'New Worlds' section of the plot generator.

I've changed the scenario a little bit: chaos cultists instead of aliens: I don't have the alien gear for this kind of a scenario, but I do have a decent collection of chaos cult stuff. Here's the idea:

A Lamenter ship picked up signs of life on a planet previously though to be abandoned. Scouts have been sent to the surface of the planet to investigate. They discover an extensive network of underground facilities. The scouts are instructed to attack and do as much damage as possible as they wait for their marines to deploy.

Lots of juicy targets!

The scouts are go!

It all went pretty well until the robot came out to play!

Edit: wrong link, sorry! The report for the game is on the blog: http://preacherbyday.blogspot.com/2017/03/rt-project-maximum-havoc-pulp-alley-game.html

Sounds like another fun and characterful game.

I'd love it if GW did a Kill Team game with these sorts of scenarios.

These reports are great, I'm really enjoying them.
a mixture of quick parts, sarcastic humour, reserve, and caprice.

Thanks guys! They certainly have been fun to play. And yes, it would be great if GW put their considerable resources behind a game like this. Still, Pulp Alley works a treat, so I'm pretty happy.

Corrected the link above so it takes you to the actual game, not just the background!
