Irish at Jadotville from WA
« on: November 14, 2023, 12:10:33 AM »
Not seen these before, and they're on offer this week.  I think they could have added a Bren, some Enfield rifles, some M1 helmets maybe, but they'll will be easy enough to find and the rest of the bits are useful.

There are M1 helmets in the 82nd Airborne set plus Brens and SMLEs in other sets. WGA make an incredible range of figures, both plastic & digital.

Makes you realise just how incredible their stand at Jadotville was given that the figures lack webbing or even trouser pockets. The Irish government has always been parsimonious when it comes to defence spending but not quite that bad.  At least they have the super secret version of the FN FAL where the carry handle doubles as scope and it's fitted with a silencer. ;)

The Carl Gustav SMGs would be useful but part from that, these aren't any advance on the old Mongrel Congo line, which are available again.

WA do provide an incredible range of stuff. Alas, much of it isn't especially well researched or executed.
