A nice thread of miniatures.

Yes - the mould line is annoying (I just found one on a miniature I'm painting) but worth it to correct it now that get (slightly) annoyed on the gaming table.

Puma kit here:

It might have to wait until I have the Tankograd book (there are no instructions).

That Puma looks like a nice bit of kit. And the Panzer Grenader also looks nice. Looking forward to to seeing how you integrate them into your world.

Though on another thread, and might be considered a spoiler: though the leader of a  founder signatory of the Oceanic Alliance decided that he could see no advantage in honouring Aylands treaty obligations and ordered his forces to remain in place (though see 60th Royal Rifle Regiment), other members of the alliance did move in Blueland's defence. After the navies of Blueland and Wyeland secured the sea crossing, Zedland forces relieved Blueland forces at one of the ports, and their combined forces made a dash to the capital.

Do not tar all Aylanders with the same brush (it s unhygienic).

True, they can not all be held responsible for the actions of a few in power.

You did not misread it (even though they had forces in Blueland, they were ordered to remain in place, secure their sites and ignore requests for aid. This did not go down well with Ayland personnel).

I would imagine so. Not many solders like to sit ideal while a fight is brewing. Especially when it's  a chance to show up another  friendly unit or nation.  ::)

At a recent show I picked up two packs of resin "Jersey Barriers" from the stand of The Sleeping Dragon Hobby Shop.
https://www.sleepingdragonhobbyshop.co.uk/
They are not (at time of posting) on their web shop, but they have an email address (and a 'phone number) on the site.

Each pack contains four resin cast pieces from a 3D printed master. There are some obvious print lines and some artefacts, especially on the top surface. However it does provide them with some texture (more on that later).

They are much taller than Jersey Barriers (they are 20mm tall which is a metre plus at 28mm depending on your choice of scale).

After giving them a scrub, I sprayed the "visible" surfaces with Rustoleum Rust effect spray paint for some added texture before giving them an overall coat of Halfords Grey Primer. I then sprayed them from above with Halfords White Primer.

Half of each piece was then masked (you can see the artefacts on the top - they could be reinforcement).

And sprayed with Citadel Mephiston Red.

Once dry, they were extensively dry brushed with Citadel Terminatus Stone and washed with Citadel Nuln Oil.

They will provide suitable cover for infantry, even on slotted bases.

They will also provide cover for your vehicles.

But you will need to consider their placement if you do not want to provide cover for your enemies.

Caught in a spotlight, William Killian wishes he had cleaned the Land Rover before going out.

They are a nice addition to my scenery collection, and (at the time of purchase) notably cheaper than comparable barriers.

Seems odd to have such poor quality masters for such a simple shape?
3d print is not the answer to everything and, while in this case it’s not too terrible, a smooth finish would have been trivial to achieve.

I’d be tempted to cast them in grey plaster and chip them...

My suspicion is that this is a trial of the concept (they also had a range of MDF buildings which is also not currently on their site).

Ten minutes with some sandpaper would smooth them off before use as the master. As you say, it is a very simple shape (though possibly beyond my capability I will admit), and post print correction would be trivial, not like the crates.
