(GoT) The Riverlands at War - Feb 8th, House Paege
« on: 16 January 2017, 10:24:31 PM »
So I've just set up a new blog for my Game of Thrones project I have been working on for the last year and a bit.

I did have a thread on the medieval board when I first started this, logging every model I painted, but once I'd settled into things I decided to stop doing so. Instead I've been working hard in secret, telling myself not to show anything until I have got...

1 - Completely finished units.
2 - A big enough collection.
3 - Some real terrain, including terrain boards.
4 - Played some games.

And now it is time to show you what I've been working on!

Read the first post on my blog here - http://theriverlandsatwar.blogspot.co.uk/

Please subscribe to the blog if you are interested!

And here's a little pic to whet the appetite.

Tomorrow I will put up pics of the first two units. I currently have 13 completed units which I will be posting over the next week or two. After that it will be following my progress as the project continues, including terrain building, AARs and other musings.

Looking forward to seeing what you've been working on. I need to update my stuff as well. It should hopefully get me motivated to paint, which is the hard part for me. I don't dislike painting, but it takes some motivating.

Great, you have been busy!

And if you're doing Wars of the Roses, these will do very well for Yorkists in their Murrey and Blue...  :)

Thanks guys.

Great, you have been busy!

Indeed I have, this is just two units of many. I currently have 13 infantry units of similar sizes. Two more of which will be up either later tonight, or tomorrow!

Wow, i missed this - till now! Always cool to see newcomers join the westeros armies on the forum. I shouldn't speak, considering how little i've painted of mine... :D
