As the main tenant of Hacksaw Ridge I must of course point out that the ruins are in fact Bosporan rather than Bactrian 👀

Yeah.........

About that Bactrian thing.....I was wondering but willing to suspend feelings of disbelief. Far stranger things have happened in the course of these games  lol

now, where were we.....

the white shelling is relentless....

and the battleship's crew are obviously enjoying themselves....

Colonel Ignatieff beside his pride and joy, his Lancia armoured car 'Gina'.  Shortly after this he defected to the Reds...

The Red Air force, bringing civilisation in the form of 120lb bombs....

The Reds were making slow progress on their left flank

while the Whites continued to make good their escape...

a fine arial shot of St.Basils

The Red Gotha on a civilising mission onto Hacksaw Ridge. In no time at all those messy old 4th century B.C. ruins were cleared away, ready for socialist housing development to be built.  Huzzah!

Uncle Yuri's day didn't get any better.  Next up he straffed the key Red naval infantry attack on Hacksaw Ridge, taking out half the unit.  Frunze scribbled an order for him on his return: "report for immediate 're-orientation' course on return. STOP.  And a pair of prescription goggles....STOP"

having remodelled the ruins, the Gotha has turned to s pot of landscape gardening on the back slopes.

Red cavalry relieved at escaping the attentions of Uncle Yuri

The sacred Banner of the Black Madonna provided spiritual support for the White defenders.

meantime, more and more White troops made good their escape

victorious soldiers of the proletariat liberate what's left of Hacksaw Ridge

and the infamous coal bunker is taken without a fight

the scene near the end.  Reds pushing forward, but cannot catch the Whites

Thanks for reading!

Impressive!

Will we ever learn the fate of the Pale King, or did I miss that?

You could be onto something here Lon.  I understand the mission may be called 'The Tears of Solomon', but as to what it pertains too we will have to wait a few weeks......

Great looking game with good topic, the RCW is way undergamed!

Good figures, equipment and terrain, well done!
