After Christmas/New Year pause our mini-campaign continues with some change of rules. This time we used "Trench Storm", also from Mr.Sorensen and find them appropriate for our Civil War cause ))

So, after beating back red counterattack, Denikin continues his victorious march towards Ekaterinodar. Next station - Tikhoretskaya, rich and strictly pro-bolshevik town, fiercely defended by locals. Reinforcement column of freshly-raised conscripts with armored car and artillery heads on to prevent its capture, but time is running out...
Initial deployment and battle plan.
View from bolshevik perspective.
Battle starts badly for the relief force: Austin car is destroyed by direct hit from white battery, flank companies are mauled by Kornilov's fire.
Plastoons make successful front assault of the village, despite nearly half of them being shot by villagers.
Drozdovsky regiment makes sneaky flank march, which finally turns out in total success.
Finally red conscripts arrive at Tikhoretskaya, pinned by artillery and air attacks, but lack moral to beat back small Kornilov's blocking force. Townfolk and some sailors that came to assist are also broken and leave town to whites.
Battle ended in white victory again, thanks to excellent usage of fire and manouver.
White artillery used very smart tactics of "hitting nothing, but pinning everything", which proved to win the day - red infantry spent most of their turns in the dirt. Red artillery made some nice shots, destroyed Kornilov's HMG company and killed some riflemen, but all these achievements were local and changed nothing.
