I really like Mud & Blood and the character the cards can lend the game. I've tried Chain of Command with the suggested mods for WW1 and might actually go back to M & B for our periodic WW1/RCW games for the extra flavour.

Great game. And I agree, Mud and Blood is my preferred ruleset.

Does anyone know where to get a hard copy of "Through the Mud and the Blood"?

I thought I had purchased a copy from TwoFatLardies, but it turned out to be a .pdf (even the the description said hard copy). I bought the rules almost a month ago and have have tried contacting TFL, yet I get no response.

I prefer hard copies over .pdf versions any day!

I know Rich of TFL has been dealing with a bunch of personal stuff during the holidays, but he's usually reasonable about answering email.

I'd ask on the TFL mailing list or try emailing again. He's also got an account here on LAF as "Lardy Rich" and posts fairly actively.

My hard copy of M&B is several years old, I think it's still in print/in stock at TFL but haven't had any reason to check myself!

Okay, thanks, I'll try again.

I got my hard copy through On Military Matters in Hopewell, New Jersey, U.S.  I see from the website that he still stocks it.

Great looking game, very impressive.
My two cents -  "On Military Matters" is a great bookstore for all things military history and for war gaming rules.
