Ceaser Miniatures 1/72 Undead

Some more plastic fantasy minis from Caesar Miniatures. These were as much fun to paint as the dwarves I posted and we're also using these in the Fantasy Raiders campaign we're playing.

What I really love about them is the real Harryhausen feel the've got to them - like they've just been raised and are about to attack Jason and his argonaughts! :)  However, I went for a clean look, based on the reasoning that if you've mastered enough magic to raise the living dead, then the kind of clean-up work that Mickey Mouse made a mess of in Fantasia should be childs play! lol  Just because your bones are showing doesn't mean your blade shouldn't be sharp and that you shouldn't turn yourself out well!!

I've sealed them with a heavy varnish to protect them, just like the Dwarves, but I've not yet got around to applying brush-on DullCoat.

Your comments and criticisms are most welcome :)

I love them. And the standard is very metal! I have got to get some Caesar fantasy stuff.

Thanks, SG :)  I'd not thought about the standard being metal - I just went for the first "evil" symbol that popped into my head after I'd already picked up some white on my brush :)  But you're right - it is quite metal! :)
