Modular Game Boards
« on: January 29, 2017, 04:07:04 PM »
I love having a nicely done game board. I'm not the type that just throws a mat down - I love the hobby aspect just as much as I love the game. (Which is not to say that I won't play just about anywhere!)

So, I designed an 18x18 inch modular board (similar to the 2x2 foot boards Terrain Tutor did), and Fantasy Arc (Ken is a great guy) is cutting the design for me.

I like to have elevation in my boards, but I want to make sure I can pay most scenarios on my set up.

From what I can see, most games require a roughly 12x12 inch space at the center of the board for objectives and such. What other considerations should I take into account as I start to lay these out?
