I think these Hussites from 1st Corps (are these 'Kingmaker'?) would be very useful.





I don't know how they scale with Perry Miniatures, perhaps someone else here knows?
I used to own them, I remember them being a very good height match with Perry, if a tad wider.

I would love to find more figure armed with great swords in 28mm that are not floppy sleeved Landsknechts.

I have seen some Irish with great swords that are really nice but only as greens and could never find the finished minis.

I am trying to avoid the floppy hats and poofy sleeves.

 Check out claymore castings isles men. They got some good looking two hand sword and axe types. Mostly in chain mail and pot Helms. So maybe change the heads out to make for a more eastern feel.

Two handed swords were never that popular as players in all kind of games would like to think :)

Especially in eastern Europe. They would be most likely present in the hands of German mercenaries.
