Looks to be an independent project from one of the artists, that started with his life size recreation of "rayguns" a few years back.

The great thing about this is that he has created full size replicas of weapons, as well as illustrations for his book!

I just digged a bit deeper and these guys are absolutely amazing:

Check their website: http://www.wetanz.com/holics/raygun-testimonials.php

I am soo tempted to get a 1:1 scale Raygun, but $600,00 + is something I dare not to order...

I was at a swap meet last eyar and some rusted old '50s Ray Guns that shoot pellets or something... they guy wanted about $500. That's when I put them down and stopped making "pew pew" noises.

Would not be hard to just scratch build these.  Maybe I should just start offering my services for one of a kind one offs!

What's fantastic is that he started with the rayguns, but then built a great backstory around them by creating a sort of turn of the century mail order catalog for them.
