A bits/accessories pack would be good for individualising your mechs, there's plenty of vehicle stowage bits out there but mechs present a lot of odd angles & corners - some dedicated stuff for them would be nice.

I know that they have added extra weapons bits in the Wolverine Squad box. I was thinking if they took some of the individual weapons pods, and options from their existing range it would make a good starting point. Throw in a couple of additions and you would have a very useful accessory pack.

Two of the new add-on options are for the Wolverine Mech (my favorite) squad, and the Wasp Aeromech Squad. Each squad contains three models for 28 GBPs. They normally go for 45 (Wolverine) and 40 (Wasp).

The Wolverine is very good ((I have one assembled and base painted).

The Wasp, not so much.

I've always loved the Wolverine Mech. The design for the model just "feels" right if you know what I mean. Don't have the Wasp model yet.

I have the original release box set of them.

Not sure if I assembled one of them (one of the separate pilots gets found occasionally when searching for something else).

I remember it as having a scaled down look of a Battletech version of the Macross Valkyrie.

Some interesting new stuff has cropped up on the KS, a Brit 'sentry drone' (I assume this is a relatively small item, as its portrayed as a small central mech with a pair of Vickers HMGs). Also a new unit - a German 'Kriegmaschinen' - looks like a zombie with a mechanical body.
Finally a power armoured Japanese mech commander (I thought that these were previously to be the IJA powered armour troops, but maybe that's changed).
They're all rather good, though the Japanese figure looks a little too high tech for WWII for me (though as I don't currently game the Pacific Theatre I suppose it doesn't really matter).

(Please excuse the slightly broken pics, I think I'm suffering some sort of software issue).

Interesting.

Not completely convinced about the sentry drone.

The kriegsmachinen is suitably odd.

I went from the basic pledge, to the £66 pledge after more mechs unlocked, then added an extra £20 to my pledge ready to buy a couple of the extra unlocks, like the looks of the kriegsmaschine and the plasma truppen

I'm sitting at 146 with the hopes that the Japanese mech gets unlocked and with it a USMC force so I can get 3 mechanical and a platoon each of Japanese and USMC

Hmmm. Of interest to me are the Mr. Smythe and the mech pilot figures, but it seems none of those can pledged for on their own or as an addon?  :'(

Assuming I'm seeing things correctly, the Japanese now have support weapons available with the newest update.

Unfortunately the only way to get those seems to be the Mech Commander pledge which includes the pilots and lets you use the pledge money on addons as you like.
Granted that would get one a whole bunch of Smythes.

I really have no idea what I'm doing.
