Are all the skills for the archetypes in the book explained in the gloire book? Also is there anything else in the black flag book that may be needed?

I have only just started playing this after buying the rules on the weekend but it is amazingly simple and gripping. I finally got my dad back into wargaming his fiw figures after being on a break of around 15 years!!

Most of the skills and archetypes are explained in the core rules. Others (a few) are distributed over the Under the Black Flag supplement. Hopefully some day Rattrap manages to pool all skills, abilities and equipment for Gloire (the same for .45A) in one list. Meanwhile a quick reference sheet naming at least the book & page for the particular entries would be a great addition to the download section... *waving at Operator5*

Special Abilities are the only things needed unless a character type is referenced that does not appear in the main or Among the War Parties books.

Even if you don't read our forums Mad Doc, always check the free downloads section. I have not put up much recently, but every so often we add something in there (scenario, game aid, new character, etc.)
