After what seems forever, I finally completed the five figures for my Quest gang along with a league roster  :D





I have given the gang the 'Bastion of Science' perk, which almost seems like it written just for them lol I think I'm going to give Jonny one more skill (even though it does break the points total for abilities slots). I'm going to give him the "Jonny Slide" which will allow him to  run up to 16" instead of 12" - which is just the level 1 ability Speedy. Anyone familiar with the cartoon knows all about the Jonny slide  ;D

More seriously though, that's a great looking league you've got there. There are a lot of fun and interesting things you could do with Pulp Alley--using any number of skills to represent a combo of luck and trickery, or even something off the wall, like Jonny and Hadji as a single Sidekick--but you've put together a solid write up. One thing I might suggest, given his judo expertise, is trading out one of Race's abilities for Fierce and really cementing him as the combatant in the group. If nothing else, I like that Dr. Quest isn't (unfairly) portrayed as a milquetoast.

Thanks for the heads up Mila, and as you well know with the shipping email you sent me this afternoon, I have some skimmers on the way!

Any suggestions for Jade, Danger? I have a Pascha Peddler already, but no luck with Jade. I think I absolutely agree with getting Fierce in Race's abilities - get rid of Dead Eye then? Or what about Quick-Strike? Would that be a better option?

nicely done!  great use of hasslefree for race.  i've had the same idea for some time.  i was planning on using the pulp figures "rugged archeologists" for dr quest.

The robot spy is definitely on the to do list Gary lol

Hasslefree definitely have some fantastic figures Pete - I'd actually grabbed the kid figure "Peter" from the ??zombie line?? I think (probably wrong though). He was originally going to be Jonny but I felt he was way too small when placed next to the other figures. Dr. Quest was definitely one that was hard for me to decide how he should look - he's the only one in the series who always seemed to wear different clothes, and in all different colors too (except for the winter jackets the gang wore in a few adventures), so I wasn't sure if I should put him in a suit, a polo shirt or the classic lab coat. I should probably just make a few different Benton figures and make it easy  lol

Fierce or Quick-Strike? Tough call. I'd say go with Quick-Strike. That judo throw is overwhelming.

Short of some conversion work, finding Jade's iconic look (which I don't think is actually in the series) with the head scarf and peasant blouse might be an impossibility. Maybe a figure from a western range? Copplestone's Female Archaeologists set has two figure close to her look in Double Danger:



Regardless, I'm looking forward to seeing where this goes.

Again, much thanks for the positive replies everyone  :D

I did take Dangers suggestion and give Race the Quick-Strike ability, so hopefully that'll help him more in hand to hand combat situations.

I've got the first chapter ready to go in my Quest gangs mini campaign - here are some photos of the table and some plot points. Full AAR coming soon   ;)
