Some pictures showing how they compare size and style wise to the Foundry works of the Greeks hoplites would be nice.  The WOG are the industry standard for hoplites as far as I can tell.  Assuming they are compatible it would be great to see Thdbans in standing and overarm thrusting poses since these are mostly absent from the market.

They seem to look good painted up, and the Tagmatarkis level of pledging is $1.22/figure for metal. :)

Not my cup of tea as I don't like the proportions, but I am happy for them being funded. Always cool if somebody can make their own miniature line a reality.

i don't think it's the kind of range we need for.... ???
They look like 80's sculpt quality (seeing light infantry).

here are Garrison

Greek ranges are already numerous on the market, like Romans and friends...

I see a difference between those two styles, and prefer the ones being provided from the kickstarter.

Is the bottom picture even 28mm?  If I recall, Garrison figures were 20mm.

And these are military miniatures, so if someone wants to produce new figures, who's to say they can't?  The hobby sounds a bit whiney when folks are disappointed about someone's choice as to what they want to sculpt and produce.

hey,

Garrison were 25mm.
People do what they want but i don't think they can get a lot of followers with such classical subject as Greeks....

Apparently he has what is needed to produce the bulk if what is being offered, and it is just a matter of reaching stretch goals.  Suspect this is some what a labor of love, although financing helps.

It is good that the character and Thracian stretch goals have been reached, looks like the attacking hoplites are nearing.

I'd enjoy seeing the cavalry goal being reached, although only 14 days left to make it the rest of the way.

I'm contemplating increasing my pledge.

If it's work, i'm happy for him... :D

May be some civilian figurines will be a very good idea too.  ;D ;D ;D

there is a big lack of "civilians"  in Ancient 28mm, even in 15mm there is not a great amount of offers on the marketplace.

The campaign made it to the third stretch goal, and the attacking hoplites are now free to move forward.

The pics on de kickstarter are somewhat small. Hard to see the character of the models, I think I like what I'm seeing - don't have any Greeks yet - but I need bigger pics to decide If I join - or order later - or not...
