AKULA's 1/35 Zombie Project pg3 more zombies....

Four more Zeds for the horde..... some experiments with non-MB plastics.



The two on the right are v.minor conversions of some regular plastics. The guy second from the left is actually a 1/32 crew figure, which I've given a 1/35 head....will probably paint him up as some sort of hulking undead mechanic.... The left hand figure is a WW2 German that I've roughly lumped some green stuff onto, doesn't need to be too tidy as he is going to get quite a grimy paintjob.

Four more Zeds, again I haven't undercoated these yet so you can see where the parts came from...the grey bits are from the MB sprue and the yellow are a mix of modern US military and Afghanistan era soviet sprue parts.  Again they are intentionally a bit mucky, have sprinkled some sand on them to give them a bit more texture before I paint them.

Thanks mate, my plan is to keep the cost per zed as low as possible, by filling out the horde with cheap plastics, and then maybe add a few resin specials, plus of course some survivors.

As with all my projects, I suspect it will spiral out of control shortly....

Hey apologies for reviving this old thread but did you ever make any more progess on this project?

Currently on my painting desk, but under a rather large pile of other things.

What little hobby time I’ve got at the moment is split between Judge Dredd and Game of Thrones.
