Definitely a bummer, and good to learn that healing seems to be coming along well!

I've fixed one of the casualties but I the other might be a goner.

Ever had a similar experience ?

The consolation, S, is that if you make them then you can repair them. Imagine if you had bought them professionally painted and converted and then dropped them , disaster !            Love the blog btw.

What bad luck.
I banged into a door with Perry plastic figures the other day.
Figures only primed. Most hit the floor, nothing broke.
Perry makes them tough. ;)
Got lucky on that one.

I walked into a guys open army case at an event a few years back. I must have knocked a 100+ plastic orks to the ground. Luckily all that was damaged were a few arms popped off. I now give other peoples stuff a wide bearth and always keep my arms behind my back when going in for a closer look.

Could have been worse.  I had a shelf bracket break about 10 years ago that dumped 100+ painted pirate figures onto a laminate floor from about 5 feet up.  Took me two days just to find all the pieces, and then I just put them in a box for a few years before I could bear to look at them again and begin repairing damage.  Took two months to fix them all.

Stuart...
I once dropped a freshly painted miniature ....
Instead of letting it fall on to the soft deep  pile carpet i decided to slow it's decent with my foot :?
Had it been a rugby ball it would have been one of the finest conversion kicks in history  :o

Lovely toys as always old boy

All the best.  Aly
