But , Wargames Factory are officially closed & I wonder whether it would it be worth it to post plastic from EU to USA ?

That's a good way of putting Duke.
Now imagine if all of us reuse one sprue.
Tons of material less of waste  ......

Remember , Plastic sprues are your friend & very easy to work with.
