online photo editor (free)
« on: March 09, 2017, 08:27:00 PM »
I was interested in knowing what photo editing suites people used to better prepare their pics for posting. I have a Flickr account and that had a photo editing suite (Aviary). Apparently this is a Adobe tool, anyway it stopped working a couple of weeks ago and looks like being long term out of commission despite the hopeful message Flickr post.
It was a simple editing suite but did wellfor my needs particularly cropping/sharpening/toning/ lighening-darkening photos of games such that they looked better for posting.
Necessity being the mother of getting off your backside and doing something I cast around online and found Pixlr https://pixlr.com/editor/
This looks a lot more complex than Aviary but I'll give it a go and I'm sure I'll get used to it.
I just wondered what photo editing suites other use/could recommend?

I use photoScape, download it for free on the net. Pretty basic but simple to use.
A CANADIAN local hobby store with a small selection of historical wargames miniatures (mainly from Warlords). They also have a great selection of paint and hobby accessories from Vallejo, Army painter, AK Interactive, Green Stuff World and more.; https://www.kingdomtitans.ca/us/

Adobe Photoshop Elements Version....An old one.  So it was cheap years ago and is probably even cheaper - or free by now.
