Riding legs parts for conversions.
« on: March 02, 2017, 06:05:53 PM »
I want to convert some infantry figures to cavalry... so I need some riding legs for them. Now I thought this would be easy given there's bunches of people making resin conversion bits, but I can't find anything suitable anywhere. I'm after medieval, light cavalry, unarmoured... Big riding boots would be fine.

And available in the UK.

Anyone any suggestions?

Katie

I just tend to buy individual plastic cavalry sprues. Second City Games on EBay is my general 'go to' for broken boxes (EBay search = "seller:2nd_city_games") though Perry, Warlord and Conquest all sell cavalry sprues of one sort or another. Perry is great value as the sprues AND postage are fairly priced.
My LAF Gallery is HERE
Minis (foot & mounted) finished in 2024 = 32
(2023 = 151; 2022 = 204; 2021 = 123; 2020 = ???)

I use him a ton, what with my current plastic-obsession.  ;) :D

I did finally find the sprues in their shop... but only after finding some suitable cavalry figures which only need head-swaps...

Do these guys still do shows? I used to run into them at Colours but I don't recall seeing them at any I've made it to recently.

I think I saw Perry Miniatures at last years Salute, and it looks as though they're on the list for this year as well.

No idea I'm afraid Katie as I don't really do shows. He's very approachable if you message him via eBay.

Ooops! Sorry about that....they don't appear to be on the trader list for Salute. I don't know about any other shows :-/
