I wasn't in on the Conan KS but I hear that a lot of the stuff that was produced for the game is "KS exclusive". One wonders how much of the Batman stuff is going to be like that.

Im not a fan of exclusives either. With Conan & Mythic Battles, they did it okay-ish.  M o s t  KS-exclusives are variants of existing models, nothing essential. In my Conan Pledge there were for instance different Conans and alternative sculpts for picts and undead.

I can only recommend them. Most models are pretty good especially considering their price.

Hey chaps,

I am currently working for Monolith, at this time, with the Batman project. I HAVEN'T yet sat down and played the game yet, but will be doing soon. Fred Henry will be coming over for a cuppa and demonstrating his new baby.

So, any questions you have, I will not be able to answer at this time. But I'd be happy to hear your thoughts on the game. Things you'd like to see. Characters. Powers. Game play features...

All I can tell you is expect the KS to go live after Mythic Battles starts being delivered.

Obviously can't speak to game play at all, but the prototypes look great. I like them better than anything Knight Models has put out.

Hope the detail transfers well to production pieces.

Are you talking about the wooden meeples used in this demo? LOL

I so desperately didn't want this to look good.... oh well, guess I'll start saving now then.

It should look good. If you liked the minis in Conan, you will love the minis in Mythic. They have changed the plastic, to a more rigid type that allows for more detail. I would expect that the Batman minis will be even better. (and hopefully not milky white colored.) =)

Very nice! I can only assume that different versions/incarnations of Batman will be exclusive to the KS campaign, but the one that was just shown looks like one of the best Batman mini out there.
Too bad we won't see them in the plastic flesh until 2020.

Holy moly, batman! Those are excellent sculpts. Where shall I take the money to buy them all?

Although it's obviously early days yet, I'm somewhat interested in the projected scale of the minis. I assume something like 35mm?

Not sure if this is going to happen as they are sticking to the comic book version. So there shouldn't be a Adam West or Ben Afleck versions

Not known, but if they stick to their Conan-minis, then its something between "realistically proportioned" 28mm and 32mm. The Conan minis fit perfectly with Bronze Age, for instance.

I'm playing Conan now so hope that a similar system will be worked on for Batman as it's very easy to learn but, you guessed it, difficult to master (and heaps of fun).  Miniatures wise I'm more than happy with the ones from Conan so looks like I'll be dropping a lot on Batman.

I can confirm that the minis are in fact 35mm. So you'll need a little more paint for each one you paint =)

It will be a similar system, allocating gems/energy, to preform actions. But there will be some changes to game play, as Conan is a slayer enemys and Batman is an incarcerator of criminals.
Mini wise, these should be superior to Conan. Judging by Mythic Battles. The new plastic they are using is more rigid and can hold far more detail then those in Conan, and hopefully don't come in that milky plastic color.
I will be at Ludinord in France, to see it, in a few weeks...excited =)

Well, I got to see the proto, but not play it.  :'(

The table was always full. In fact, this whole room was always full. Maybe next time...

YAY!!  So, my Knight Models will have good company.

I have been very pleased with my Conan, and really looking forward to Mythic Battles (which I also pledged for).

But, this...I'm gonna be on it like white on rice!! I'm really excited for this.
