Played 2 games at Poldercon of the game called Gaslands that is currently in Beta and love it to death. Very simple to learn, this is literally the game I've been collecting Matchbox cars for all of my life after discovering Car Wars when I just got into (war)gaming 20 years ago.

I don't have the rules, don't know the points, don't even know what can and cannot, but that doesn't matter much in a Post Apocalyptic car racing game So I'm just putting stuff together that looks right.




Needs rivits, but other then that good as is. Focus is on speed and ramming. Mine dispenser and boom box at the back for fluff reasons. Side armour for the wheels to keep going longer, light on armour otherwise. Not sure yet what paintjob she will get. Same goes for a name and most of the backgroundstory or sponsorship.

Definitely going to pick it up when its out though.

Yup, I've applied for the Beta but sofar no word, and it doesn't really matter, building these cars is 75% of the fun, innit?

Iirc they said they werent going to give out the beta anymore since the rules are more or less ready for octobef.

Started a lot of tire piles by dismantling 2nd hand cars and trucks.



I'll just paint the base and use weathering powders for the tires.
