Why is the water for the pool higher than the surrounding wall? And is the Gloriette supposed to be a mansion or a gateway? Why not put the brick pattern on the bare bit of MDF?

This is the real thing in Portmeirion.  The back wall is plain plaster.  As with all of Clough Williams-Ellis's folly, it has no real function.

It's very much a perfect model of the real Gloriette. Prisoner show fans get it; I'll post pics of my painted Gloriette in a bit!
