Warlands Black Box Contents
« on: March 01, 2009, 09:27:12 PM »
I got mine in the mail and posted the contents on my blog (click).  Overall, I think it looks pretty promising.  I haven't read the rules through yet, though.

Got mine as well. Skimmed the rules a couple times and they seem alright in that it seems fairly loose gearing towards action, movement, and not bogging down in a myriad of rules. Sculpts are alright although the rocket launcher figure has some pretty soft features (priming will tell).

Started messing around with making plaster cast wrecks from tinfoil molds as described at the Combat Zone Chronicles website

Are the vehicles in resin or styrene? Can you do some scale photos please?

If you follow the link in the first post you can read they're resin, and see some comparison shots as well.

For me, 20mm isn't really my scale and I'm curious how you people like the rules, so when you've tried them out for a couple of games I'm interested to hear more.

I don't care too much about the vehicles, the buggies are nice but the truck is a bit too boxy and just not all that interesting IMO.

Nice wrecks BTW 8)
