This looks interesting ...

Stretch goals are included in as part of the Warband, Company, or Battle Company pledge levels at no additional cost.

I pledged for the Warband level.

Great looking miniatures and nice to see something different being offered.
It always surprises me when companies on kickstarter offer a new range of........ adventurers, dwarves, orcs, acw infantry, greek hoplites etc........ and they get funded although the market is full of similar and often better looking miniatures which have been around for years.

Resin casts at about 1 pound a model? Hope they didn't make any mistakes in their calculations, because this sounds far too cheap to be possible.

This has slightly worried me as well. (too good to be true?). He has already done 2 successful kickstarters but since both wont be delivered until may and june this year it is difficult to judge how reliable he is. At least he does have a company website - http://www.heroesofthedarkage.co.uk/

Kind of interesting, but certainly too cheesecakey for my taste. Looks like something from a garage calendar. Each to their own, but to tempt me into buying there would need to be fewer glamour models and more nasty looking feral fighters.

Not my cup of coffee.

Too much cheesecake and wrong size (scale if you prefer.)

I am clearly not the target demographic for these figures.  As much as I would like to see more female figures, I'd like them to be sensibly clothed (I would not go running about a forest with only the very top of my breasts covered, and in a long loin cloth that still doesn't manage to cover what needs protecting).  I just keep thinking about the mosquito bites, brushes with poison ivy and poison oak, stinging nettles....

Still, good luck to them.  I hope three uncompleted kickstarters at the same time doesn't overwhelm their ability to fulfill.

Well, in their defence, a quick google search on amazonian tribe will reveal plenty a forest dweller running through the forest wearing a whole lot less.
The sculpts are okay though cheesecake indeed.

I like sexy, but no, they don't really convey a savage warrior vibe to me.
Maybe with the right paintjob? But I can't help but think that would undo the cheesecake factor and you'd still be better of with more fitting model.

Just the right amount of cheesecake for me. Should fit in well with the missus' burgeoning wood elf/fairy/forest creature army.
I'm a bit tired of the 'sensible shoes' crowd poo-pooing anything with a hint of flesh to virtue signal to the world how socially aware and not sexist they are.

Why can't we have both?

Like I said I like sexy. I'm a redblooded male.
I can certainly see the appeal in these models, cheesecake as they are.
They just don't have the right tone for me. Nothing wrong if they have the right tone for you.

But plenty of people have trouble finding the ladies with the sensible shoes.
I think there should be a balance. I'm not saying:'No more sexy models".
I'm saying:'More alternatives to the sexy models."

These models are fine. At the moment I don't have a use for them though.

Everything you said

I agree 100%. More models is always a good thing. I like the more realistic minis that have been released lately as well, I've bought most of them myself. But these days the minute a mini range hints at flesh, there is a very vocal mob who turn up to huff and puff and 'Not me!' all over the place, and it's bloody tiring.
There definitely should be room for both types of miniatures, and liking one doesn't exclude you from liking the other as well.

I was going to try to explain again what I don't like about them, but I got too distracted organising a rally for equal rights for transsexual vegetarian sandal-wearing mythical creatures, and was so tired by the time I'd finished I slumped unconscious over my quinoa and couscous salad.
