Very nice work, Jeff!

Actually the "British limber at full gallop" is from the Wargames Foundry Boer War range, also sculpted by the Perrys, back in the day.  I've always felt it was one of the nicest pieces of colonial era equipment on the market, and you have done an excellent job making it fit the Zulu War!

How is the limber size-wise compared to the newish ranges?
(Empress Zulu Wars, Perry Sudan and NWF...)

With other older Foundry ranges I found them too small. Especially the horses...

I'm afraid I can't help you there as I don't have any Empress limbers to compare against, however my opinion is the old Perry stuff for Wargames Foundry is notably small compared to today's modern sculpts.

As the lucky owner of Jeff's hard work, do these help? A pair of the limber horses alongside Empress AZW cavalry: they're slightly smaller but you won't notice the difference on the table, and they work well alongside the artillery and crews IMO.

Another one who likes the coloring of men, horses, and equipment - though the horse flesh might do with a bit of 'sheen' to it, especially as they're likely to be lathered up to get to this stage.  I use a dab of acrylic gloss medium to improve the effect.  Maybe works better in 15 mm than in your scale, though.  Can always tone down the gloss a bit if too stark with dull cote.
