Hi
I watched the game play and the different levels of the game really intrigue me. The initiative system is great so you get to evade a charge, or duck into cover from enemy about to fire at you, if you win the initiative you can throw some henchmen to absorb a charge on your flank, etc.

The combat with the deck building seems to hold both players engaged during the entire combat. The ability to “play” with allocation of hits in a swirling melee of lots of figures is great. The way the leader effects the combat is interesting. The card deck building is just another level to plan and then hope that luck will be on your side and you get the cards you need. The size of the deck is not fixed so you can have a large deck or a small one to cycle thru quickly.

The figures are ok, PVC will be fine, what they can do these days is amazing, I got my hands on some of the blood rage figures and they as good as most metal or resin figures on the market. The sculpt still relies more on the sculptor than the material these days.  As to the look of the figures the undead guys look the most interesting, while the  other more high fantasy, not my cup of tea I will probably proxy in Confrontation figures (you can always proxy in Confrontation figures!!!!). They also mention a pad for creating your own figures so again proxy is no problem.
I jumped in at the 200 pound level. I want the Buildings from 4Ground.  Some of the items at that pledge level make little sense, however, overall I think this will be a more interesting and layered combat system then most on the market!

William

I like almost everything I've seen from this but I'll probably wait for a general release because of:

Estimated delivery: September 2018

14 months (and probably more, rarely seen a Kickstarter deliver on time) of waiting is just too long...

Just a reminder, Kickstarter started penalizing companies who were not meeting their "delivery dates" (not sure how), so a lot of companies have started increasing their estimated delivery dates by 100-150% to cover this.

That being said, a 14 month time frame is about on par for a normal project of this size. (though it would appear they already have the majority of files done).

Yeah, that never happened.

Kickstarter won't lift a finger against obvious bad projects. They certainly haven't added any sort of penalty system. Bad for business.

Is there an actual example about KS acting on the behalf of the backers rather than project owners and license holders? I think what KS did so far was all talk and no action, unless I am very mistaken.

Not sure.  I've simply seen several KS creators talking about it.
