I thought I had two sheets, but that turned out to be wrong. Thus, I'm soon stuck with the build. I'm also waiting for mini-leds, and a remote controller for the lights, but this may take a while to arrive.

You're like a real life builder!

Great progress nonetheless.

If you want a rather good option for carpets that both tends to look good and is easy to use, look for the adhesive backed felt sheets at craft stores. A lot of color options, stuff doesn't end up as fluffy as normal felt, and it's rather simple to cut it, peel the back, and push it in place.

You can also do some decent patterns with it for various carpet patterns if you want to take the time to cut the pieces out.

Used some for it when a friend was setting up a small town board with an old motel for part of it.

Stuff is also quite cheap to get, $0.15 for a sheet close to the size of a standard printer paper (Same size the craft foam and similar things some in).

Thanks for your comment, even if I'm not sure I should take "life builder" as a compliment. Anyway, given how much time some of us can agonise over a couple of buttons on a uniform or the shape of a cupola of a tank, my condition doesn't seem that extreme.

Not much progress. Even the cat, when it came to inspect the work didn't look overly impressed.

It was even more dismissive when it looked at the plan.

Though. the supplies have now arrived so that I can continue the build when I get some time.
