The Curse of Dead Man's Hand characters
« on: March 24, 2017, 11:02:18 PM »
Now that Great Escape Games have let the cat out of the bag with their new game supplement, I am allowed to reveal some models they asked me to paint for them.

First up is the powerful crude voodoo ju-ju dude, 'The Baron'. Much fun was had with the snake.

Next is the very nice Mountain Man. I don't know if he looks it in the pics, but he's a big old lad, a real Grizzly Adams feel to him.

Then it's the leader of 'The Seven' boxed set. Yes, he's bald ... Yul be surprised to hear. I really like this one, so classically posed, so understated.

And his skeletal version in the undead 'The Malevolent Seven' (Jebus wept) boxed set.

'Sir John ejaculated explosively, sitting up in his chair.' ... 'The Black Gang'.

Beautiful work on very interesting figures.  I especially like the Baron.

As always very nice painting, the baron and Yul's faces have come out especially well.

Last night i watched the remake of true grit and the mountain man in the film with the bear skin is the spit of yours, they must have used it for inspiration ;)

Especially love the Voodoo guy. He's right out of American Horror Story Season 3... and countless other Voodoo demon-guy stuff I guess! Awesome painting.
