My Adepticon Game
« on: March 28, 2017, 10:05:13 PM »
It was my first time at Adepticon and it was a much bigger show than the ones I am used to going to (the HMGS East cons) in terms of attendance.  It was different in a lot of other ways too.  It seemed like the vast majority of people were there to play in tournaments of various sorts, there were not a huge number of one off games, although there were quite a few people available for pick-up games.

I ran an Age of Sigmar game as a one off game on Friday night.  Unfortunately there were people set up in my spot when I got there so I got moved.  Still some of the players that had signed up found me and we had a good time.  It was a very close, tight game with everyone thinking the Stormcast were going to win, then Chaos was going to win until finally the Stormcast did prevail.

Here are some pictures from the game and you can see more pictures at the links below.  I apologize for the rather poor photo quality, it was pretty dim in the room.

Look brilliant! Love the ships.
never trust a horse, they make a commitment to shoes that no animal should make.

Thanks, guys.  The ships are pretty easy to do actually.  For two of them I didn't even use coffee stirrers for the decking.  When I got back from the show I donated the ships to the local gaming store.
