Testing an attachment.  Tried posting an excel download and ended up with a blank document apparently so removed.  Still trying.

You need to put an image on a hosting site then refer to it using the insert image button.

Yep, the document posted earlier by Momotaro is a .PNG image hosted on Photobucket, not an Excel document.

What the gentlemen above said :)  Most photo hosting sites show a web address in [IMG] tags that can be copied and pasted into your post.

I just took a screenshot and cropped it using a free photo editor.

If you want to host spreadsheet files that you can share with others, Google Docs or Dropbox are the way to go.

Looking forward to see what you come up with after my demented mutterings in this thread... ;)

Ok, I find the 12-die systems offers satisfying results due to the high numbers of dice involved as more dice mean things generally even out; that being said, if you want an alternative system I'd heartily recommend you study the single Average Dice table for shooting used in Honours of War from Osprey. It offers some variance but the results are always in a narrow and acceptable range of results. Here is a link to the QRS

gorillacrab, thanks for your response, exactly the sort of response I was hoping for.  I took a quick look at it and will take a longer look when I have more time - which can sometimes be in short supply.  I've barely been able to get back to this since posting 'cause real life - that sometimes bastard - has been using up my time in buckets of late.

So, thank you, sirrah!
