New Wreck Age Minis Painted
« on: April 10, 2017, 05:27:31 PM »
My friends and I picked up some of the new releases for Wreck age at Adepticon.  I painted the ARHK starter set and heavy trooper.

Jon painted a motorcycle.

Josh painted two horses.

Most of these models are also tied to the Kickstarter that Wreck Age is running.
You can see more photos on our blog posts for the ARHK, bike, and horses.

I enjoy the diversity and detail in all of the Wreck Age line.  We've been talking about running a campaign some time, possibly this summer.

I thought the horses were still WIP....are they going to retail or was Adepticon yet another of the Wreck Age exclusive offerings?
The KS would need to almost double its pledges in the last 6 days to reach the stretch goals to get them released.

The horses will have a regular release. We're just finishing up the rules for them so that they can have stat cards and all of that fun stuff so that they're playable on the table. We're trying to stay away from too many more exclusives, since people don't have access to Adeptcion every year, even though we highly recommend trying to make it out if you're at all able to. It's a fantastic con, and we have a great time every year.

All of the stuff we are seeing as stretch goals will still see the light of day regardless, it will just take a while for us to be able to afford to bring it to market if we don't hit those stretch goals.

Good news, will be picking up a couple of those and some of the CoF guys for my set then.
Horses "as is" or are there packs and road wares to come with them?

That plan is to have some more versions, with named characters, and riding and standing packs (so a riding model, and a model off-horse), but those aren't even started yet. Probably a winter or early spring '18 release.
