Oh my, Curt -- those banners are awesome!

Khmorg, I love the dirty realism of the forge...

What a wonderful pike scene - so vibrant and full of life and energy! Despite the variety of colours (which I love) it doesn't seem disunified at all, and the basing is great. Very natural looking ground cover, but with its own splashes of colour. Excellent stuff.

p.s. Not entirely sure that "disunified" is actually a word, but since it's as close to what I want to say as I can get, I'm going to go with it.

Great entries painters!

So, the guys in front of the pike block look to be in a terrifying spot... They will take the brunt of the enemy's advance, and they don't really have a safe way to fall back... Those poor, poor souls!

Thanks

I had the same thoughts!

Curt, that pike block diorama is a fantastic piece of art! And on top of that you can even wargame with it ...  :-*

Very fine weathering on that field forge piece, Khmorg!

Love the grittiness of the Confederate characters, while the setup and basing of the pikers makes for a great presentation.

Thanks for the kind words folks. Khmorg, I really like your work on this set, especially the warm wood-grain on the field forge itself - excellent.

Thanks for the kind words. Yes, I lost, but it was an honest fight. I participated for the first time, but next year I will participate. I realized - you need to make compositions and dioramas, not individual figure.

You do know there are 7 more round to go, Dmitry?
I haven't received a Round 4 entry from you.
Unless you tell me different, I will roll this entry on into the next round.

I did not know that for each round, you can send other photos. Is it possible to send photos of other 5 figures ?? (I sent a photo today, I apologize for the delay)

@Khmorg: Believe me, you don't need to do vignettes. I often submit them as I simply enjoy working on them. In fact, I regularly get plastered by compositions which are mounted on multiple single bases. :)
