Can't make Salute - a bit far for a weekend stroll - but hope things go well for you (and everyone else attending).  The boats look great.  Love the wreckage markers!

Looking forward to this. With the early colonisation of America, there is room for a campaign: The Swedes in Nya Sverige, Dutch in New Amsterdam, French in Canada, British in Virginia, some Spanish in Florida and pirates all over with a pinch of Indians.

Beg pardon, but wouldn't that be a "pinch of colonists" and a plethora of indians?

Nice looking boats.

I bought a couple of these yesterday. Really amzaingly well modelled pieces and superbly cast. Not sure what they're made of. They feel more like plastic than resin. Really excellent wargaming model boats though.

Your game looked great Michael. You weren't there when I stopped for a look. i did see you in passing later, but I was chatting to someone else at the time so didn't get a chance to say hello. Sorry about that. But your game was a feast for the eyes as usual  8)

I bought one of the smaller sail boats that they produce at Salute on Saturday.  Great little model with lots of detail.

They're also producing ships guns with turned brass barrels which are very detailed too.

I don't think I've ever seen such a perfect resin model. Not the slightest bubble or fragment of flash or anything apart from the immaculate casting itself. Requiring absolutely no attention whatsoever. Also incredibly lightweight too. I don't know what type of resin it is they're using, or what their manufacturing process is, but I wish everyone used it. Gorgeous!

Glad you Tried them out, i'm really happy with My longboats.

@ Richard, sorry that i wasn't at our game when you passed by, glad you liked it :)

@ James, indeed out Fort Mosquito game was awarded 2 of the Salute 2017 awards: The Bill Brewer Best Table Memorial Award AND The Robert Bothwell Best Historical Game Memorial Award. Very happy for that as we have put much time, money and effort in our games.

Well done Michael, congratulations to you and the team. Well deserved.
I knew Bill Brewer back in the day when he ran London's premier wargaming shop in Peckham. A great painter and the real originator of the method perfected by Kevin Dallimore  :)
