Control Centre  The satellite is now over... Kansas

Every major villain needs somewhere to monitor the progress of his latest plan for world domination.  Of course a 'Self-destruct' button is fitted as standard.

Overall view of the Control Centre with Ainsty/Old Crow Blastwalls and doorway.  The upper level is completely separate so that I can use the basic walled module for other things (same as the Laboratory module).

The upper floor is clear (and only part assembled here, ignore the plastic strip lying around).  Once again the air-ducting and grills at the back of the room.

Right-hand side with Laboratory next door.  Floating staircase to the upper level.

Left-hand side with upper level door to adjacent module.

More foam PVC for walls and stairs.  CD cases for clear flooring.

Copplestone equipment. http://www.copplestonecastings.co.uk/range.php?range=KKB
KKBBX1 Secret Base Control Room Set
KKBBX2 Missile Silo Control Room Set
KKBB303 Databank

A large world map/video screen will be added above the upper level wall.

Looking great :-* :-* :-*
Does the control room not need a large leather lounge chair (throne) for the big boss? Of course the minion killing controls are mounted in the arms of the chair lol

Lovely Paul  :)

Did you have to remortgage your house to fund all that resin?!  ;)

There will definately be a 'Blofeld' chair but it will likely be in another room....

Not quite! I did buy all the Copplestone resin in one go so got a small discount from Mark.
All the Ainsty/Old Crow items (and there is a lot more than has appeared so far) was picked up very cheaply from a second-hand trader at Colours and the B&B at Milton Keynes in 2009.  Given the price and time saved I decided to use it rather than build everything from scratch (Yes I know this is the same person that has the little brick fetish!)

It just gets better and better, its a pity you will have to blow it up at the end of the game :D
lol Excellent Phil

Villains Lounge:

A sort of retreat and all-purpose room for when "No.1" wants to get away from all the flashing lights and buzzing, clicking sounds of the busy Command Center (tends to upset the cat, too!).  The Lounge serves as personal office, conference room, relaxation area and rumpus room. It also has a combination disciplinary feature/discrete "waste-management" system.

Nice stone flooring and walling provides a relaxing environment.  The (removeable) doorway leads to a lift-shaft/escape pod/etc.

Stairs leading up to the "pool" area, with bridge and doorway into the Command Centre.

Very relaxing to watch fish swimming in a tank.  Just dont disappoint the boss too much......

Construction, once again is MDF and foam PVC with some plastic card for the walls and flooring.  The pool surface is clear perspex, but the protective film is still on it currently.  Unlike the previous modules this one has 4 walls as, at a later date, I will use it (minus the sharks) as part of a luxury house complex on a hill/mountain top ("I see you've met my friends Bambi and Thumper").

No other items acquired/built yet for the interior.  I do need to build a large, high-backed leather chair though.  Sharks (now OOP) from HLBS.

Absolutely brilliant, it's great to see how it's supposed to be done from the ground up. I have been using foamcore for buildings, how does the foamed PVC compare for ease of cutting - I usually have lots of windows! Also what glue to do you on the PVC?
Thanks
