I like them. The colors are somewhat brighter than my usual painting style. And there are not manny earthen tones.

I have finally finished my Hail Ceasar conversion bases. Most/all my minis are single based but since I was recently quite hooked on playing Hail Ceasar I needed some movement trays. I bought some 3x2 bases from warbases but thought my minus looked a bit lonely on them so I glued in some fillers. This is the result.

Oh and I painted up some horsies too.

I need to get some of that basing shit too.

I was diverted by Normans now, and I gather you don't care about those.  lol

The Saxons willl be finished eventually though. Just got a box of archers for them. So your Vikings can now choose whether to face 110 Saxons on foot backed up by 38 cavalry or 30 Norman knights backed by 72 infantry! Spoilt for choice!

Great start on building basing. Who makes the building(s) if I may ask?

The building is from Gripping beast. I have only added paint and the skull over the door.

This thread is a bit quiet. But that does not mean I am lazying about. I have found myself involved in a painting race. (Read more here if interested.)
So until further notice my Vikings are on the back burner. But rest assured more bearded angry Norsemen will surely coming.

Having finished the Mycenean challenge. I am now free to pursue my normal randomness. I have painted some more Viking but they have their own thread. But under construction is a medieval Cog.

It will eventually grow up to be a pirate ship in the Baltic. Preying off fat Hanseatic merchantmen. So it needs a well 'ard crew.

Also I have started on some medieval/dark age scatter.
