I can tell you that they are a head taller than Artizan's Old West stuff if that helps.

Does anyone know how BS figures compare in size to the Foundry range?

Recent comparison of Old West figures I did. Foundry figure is of the newer range and still on integral base which makes up the difference in height.

Not true. BS and Artizan match quite well if properly based.

Thanks Gutbukkit.  Looks like I will be adding these to my collection.

Just bought 54 Scorpion figures off evilbay, all different. Includes apaches, Mexicans, billy the kid, lawmen + many more. And they are all METAL, cost £43, a bargain, me thinks.   THE CID.

I have BS and some Artizan.
Sorry, but basing won't hide the difference.
Its very noticeable.

Geoff,
I completely agree.  You can slightly hide the size difference with pennies etc., but you can disguise the difference in the size of weapons.

If you feel that this photo is making your eyes bleed when looking at scale then you are probably right.

I can agree with the weapon size which are oversized in the BS range. And it is also probably a matter of personnal acceptance but honestly when the miniatures are on the table it is hard to see a major difference.

Hi guys,

the difference in scale forces me to buy only the Black Scorpion Models, cause i'm loving them (the design) in spite of the guns beeing too big. Optically the bigger scale of the figures does very well, if you know what I mean. The Hands aren't that big as seen from other brands. It looks more proportional.  I also like that they aren't made out of metal (tin) anymore.
For god's sake the Range of them is big enough, so you don't have to buy others. :)

However it would be very nice if they would bring out more figures. So, if anyone hears anything about it, please tell us.
If the responsible person is reading this: Bring out new stuff. I will buy it! :)

Cheers,
Jan

Funny...  I never noticed the scale issues with the weapons before.
Doesn't bother me in the slightest.

And I do mix BS with Artizans all the time.

And I have no issues with the resin.  Granted, I like the 'heft' of metal, but it won't stop me either.

Some guns really "were" that big.
