LaserStorm AAR - 10-4-15
« on: November 02, 2015, 07:26:08 PM »
I was a little slow getting this AAR posted.

I played a game of LaserStorm at the beginning of October.  I wanted to test out my stats for my Space Marine and Eldar forces.  And try a little (very little) variant of the introductory scenario.

The forces were drawn from the stats that I created using the point calculator provided in the rules to create your own units.  I found a few things that I want to adjust, but the stats I have seem pretty decent.

Both forces were right around 1,900 points.  Next time I will add in a few extra command stands for the Eldar as their moral score isn't very high.

I played both sides in this engagement and did my best to do the smart thing for each side.

The Marines ended up taking the advantage and winning this battle: 6VP versus 2VP.

The Eldar put up a good fight, but the dice just weren't on their side and they had bad rolls throughout the game.

I have enjoyed my experiences with LaserStorm and encourage you to check the rules out.

The winning player isn't always the better player.
