UPDATE - 5th December 2019: So after getting a new caster I finally got a small restock of these drivers on the exact day Northstar announce theirs...

The background behind this and the pics are below though all of the nice pictures of folk's conversions in the thread are gone. Compared to when I commissioned these there's a lot more minis available now than when I started this thanks to the popularity of Gaslands and other post apoc car games but if anyone wants to buy any of these sets they're available at the following prices (postage not included):
£3 per pack of 3 minis
£8.50 for 3 packs.
Each pack constitutes the 3 minis from one theme, warguys, raiders or greasers. Just to clarify, I'm based in the UK but more than willing to post international which shouldn't be too expensive for standard postage (tracked and signed is quite a bit more though). If you are interested just PM me here, I don't have a website/store or anything, I can take payment by PayPal.
Last year In 2015 (man, time flies) I decided to do some post apocalyptic auto carnage gaming (I may have watched Fury Road around that time...

) using matchbox/hotwheels scaled diecasts. The lack of drivers for cars though meant most had to have armoured or otherwise covered windows and I found that the old Dark Future driver minis were neither common or all that cheap to pick up. I dabbled a bit in converting 1/72 historical minis but ultimately decided to commision a few minis of my own and have them cast up. It's taken a while to get to this point for various reasons but they're finally with the caster now.

The drivers are about the same size as DF minis but a bit less 'heroically' proportioned in terms of head size and chunkiness. They're two part as I wanted full minis usable as gunners or something as well and it's easy to snip the legs to fit them into a car:

...and compared to a matchbox car:

I had the original sculptor (Mate Lavotha aka Zorro) make some variants in two distinct flavours. First are some War... uh guys... Apologies in advance for my crap photography:

and some raider types:

I also made my own variants based on the original, some greasers for my hotrod type cars. I was pretty pleased with them and decided they were good enough to send off for casting along with the rest:

I'm not aiming to start a commercial venture but as with these types of personal projects I'll have extra available for sale to try and make back some costs.
I don't have exact pricing yet but they'll be available in sets of 3, for each of the themes once I have casts back, if anyone's interested. (Now available, see top of post)
