Author Topic: (KICKSTARTER) Deraj Studios Slavic Fantasy Miniatures (lots of pics) (Read 3844 times)

Hello all,
I've been working on a line of figures inspired from Slavic folklore (Vlad the Impaler, Baba Yaga, etc.) for a skirmish game called Portals: Worlds Collide that I've been making for the past 8 years.
I'm raising funds via kickstarter to make resin miniatures from the figures that I've had concept art and sculpts made for.
Please check out the kickstarter and consider backing: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1098010653/slavic-fantasy-miniatures-by-deraj-studios. The only way that I can produce these miniatures and by extension Portals: Worlds Collide is through the support of the miniature gaming community.

Although featured in the in-development skirmish game Portals: Worlds Collide these miniatures also work well for pen & paper rpgs (I've been told the Grenadier miniatures would make great Alchemist class characters), as well as proxies in various miniatures games. I'm using a few of my militia miniatures as threshold agents in Strange Aeons, for example.

I want every one of those minis. Can't afford that though, so I will settle for the militia deal. Great project, nice informative kickstarter page with all the relevant info. Except I could not see how much shipping for the EU will cost.

I really like the look of these minis and would love to back the project but would be doing so mostly for baga Yaga and hher hut, but without the finished sculpts it's hard to take that leap of faith....

As far as shipping to the EU, it's:

Free for the Lost in the Woods pledge (as it's a download, no shipping involved)
$10 usd for the Scout pledge (both the 'original' and the upgraded version) to the Unlikely Heroes pledge
Free shipping anywhere for the Leader of the Resistance pledge

So if you're ordering from the EU the most bang for your buck would be pretty much anything above the Scout level. And of course if you wanted to go grab a few friends to go in together for the 'all in' Leader of the Resistance pledge that would be great too

Hello all! The first kickstarter was canceled due to a slow growth of funds a couple of weeks ago.

New things in this kickstarter:
1: EU Friendly Shipping
2: Both pewter and resin versions of each mini (apart from Baba Yaga's House, that bad boy's only available in resin).

Our second stretch goal, Nadia, has been unlocked!

This means that she's available as an add-on now and is added for free to each backer at the Leader of the Resistance level. In addition she's now one of the options for backers at the Unlikely Heroes level to choose from.

We've posted new Backer Stretch Goals on our kickstarter: a new Vlad the Impaler + hapless victim miniature and free hedgehog minis!
We've also put some new stuff in the downloads section of the kickstarter page for trying out Portals: Worlds Collide with, the strategy skirmish game that the miniatures on the kickstarter campaign are going to be featured in.
