I have just posted on my blog an almost believable account of an excellent early WW2 game that Michael Perry put on at his house last weekend...

It would also appear to be a sideways version... :o

Although if you klick to view the picture it is the right way up... at least on my IPad

Lovely.  It's so nice to see stuff that isn't 1944 Normandy (which, according to us Americans is the ONLY theater in which WW2 occurred...).   lol
