Horseshit, Tomsche. Your entry is both interesting and well painted and with two so different themes I predict this to be a tough and interesting match up.

Look at that little twerp Adric. Don't you still just want to punch him in the face?  lol

Were gabions like this still in use at this time? It's a new one on me to have these rather than sandbags (not telling, asking).

Yes, I had a wonderful images which inspired me to build this, but now I can't find it. I had it on my Vaio which is no more. It involved sepoys building a gun trench like this.

A howitzer like this in the NWF theater is purely fictional. Can you imagine coaxing a lump like this into the Black Mountains?

mmmmm .... This is a tough one.
My guess is that this will be the first time that Hammers is not going to get a massive win. Good luck to you both, it is going to be a close one

I really need all those Who figures.  Nicely done, and Nyssa reminds me of someone I know.  I can't remember whom.

Hammers, your image looks pixellated, but that's about the only criticism I can find.  Nicely done.

Yet at Salonika in 1918 one of the great allied successes was hauling heavy guns up "impassible" mountains to support the advance.

Well...mmm...
The howitzer is a cracker, but I've been hooked on The Doctor ever since I was a wee lad.

It might be the paper backdrop which gives the pixellated impression. And, as you can see in the upper corners, I've done som quick, dodgy photoshopping to fill in areas where the backdrop was to small for the scope of the image.

Great work by both entrants!  I must say, I just searched through most of the entries again in search of the man and his dog.  He gets around, that fellow!

I think that the doctor who minis are very difficult to paint well so seeing such a great job on them gets the vote - even though the artillery entry is splendid too
